How to become an LCSW?

The Board requires that registered clinical social work interns provide 1500 face to face psychotherapy hours, 100 hours of supervision completed in no less than two years, and supervision must be held at a minimum of every two weeks. I meet with interns one hour per week so that they can meet supervision requirements in a timely manner.

Once we have agreed to work together, I will provide you with an agreement letter that you are required to submit to the board, and after Board approval they will assign you your registered intern number.

What to expect out of supervision?

Supervision time will be utilized to review cases, go over any clinical or workplace/agency concerns, learn more about application of your theoretical framework, diagnosis, interventions, ethical issues, receive feedback on documentation if needed, and more.

Supervision Cost?

I understand that recent graduates and interns typically are not making a lot out of graduate school. I offer a fair and competitive rate.
